Module Limited Warranty - Money-back Guarantee

NOTE: While the manufacturers go to great lengths to design and offer safe and effective products, THIS IS A HIGH-PERFORMANCE PRODUCT – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! By the installation of this product, the customer understands and agrees that as a high-performance product, individual results may vary depending on make, model, and usage. They also understand that the original product manufacturer makes its own determinations regarding the effects of add-on products and their warranties, and this Limited Warranty is the only responsibility assumed by the company, which is limited to the original purchaser of the product. This product may interfere with diagnostic testing and should be removed from the vehicle before such testing.

30-day Money-back Guarantee

TERMS OF THE 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

All diesel performance modules sold from DieselModules.com, with the exception of all “BLACKBOX MODULES”, -are backed with our peace-of-mind thirty (30) day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return your product within 30 days.

RETURN POLICY (30 DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE)

To be eligible for the Thirty (30) day money-back guarantee, the product must be correctly installed on the customer's vehicle for a minimum of two full tanks of fuel. Returning merchandise must be in original condition, returned to the original box, and postmarked on or before 30 days of the original date the merchandise was received by the customer. Any returned merchandise that exceeds the 30-day postmarked return policy, will not be eligible for a refund and will be returned to sender. Merchandise must be returned with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). Any merchandise returned without an approved RMA# will be refused and returned to the original sender. The RMA# will be issued by a Manufacturer’s Customer Service Representative and must appear on the Bill of Lading. Returning merchandise must be boxed in its original packaging and shipped in a manner that will avoid damage to said merchandise while in transit. At the sole discretion of dieselmodules.com - Any damage to merchandise while in the customer’s possession and due to inadequate packaging by the customer, may result in a.) a one-time merchandise reconditioning charge of twenty-five percent (25%) of the merchandise's original purchase price or b.) a voiding of the 30-day money-back guarantee eligibility.

TERMS OF THE PRO EDITION LIMITED WARRANTY

Dr. Performance hereby warrants its product against any and all defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase. If Dr. Performance receives notice of claim during the warranty period, Dr. Performance, at its election, will replace the defective part (s) without charge to the customer. This warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from freight damage, accident, misuse, unauthorized service, modification, or incorrect installation. Dr. Performance retains the right to inspect the part to determine the warranty status of every claim. The maximum liability of Dr. Performance shall not exceed the purchase price. Dr. Performance makes no other warranty, whether written or oral, expressed or implied with respect to this product. Dr. Performance specifically disclaims the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This Limited Warranty shall not apply to the cost of labor, freight, material, or other costs in connection with the removal and/or replacement of the claimant’s vehicle. In no event shall Dr. Performance be liable for lost profits, punitive, incidental, special, or any other consequential damages, regardless of whether Dr. Performance had notice of the potential of any loss or damage. This warranty supersedes any and all previously issued warranties for any and all previously purchased products. This warranty shall be strictly adhered to for all warranty claims filed for this product. RETURN POLICY Merchandise to be returned must be received by Dr. Performance within 30 days from the original purchase date. Dr. Performance will not be held liable for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit, therefore we STRONGLY recommend shipping returns with both insurance and signature upon delivery. Warranties/Alleged Defects

Dr. Performance warrants all of its products to be free from any defects in workmanship or material. Dr. Performance’s obligation under warranty is limited to replacing or repairing any part or parts when such part or parts are returned to the manufacturer with all shipping charges prepaid. Warranty does not apply if an item has been altered, abused, used in incorrect application, or not installed according to manufacturer instructions. All alleged defects will be handled on an individual product basis by Dr. Performance Corporate Office. Dr. Performance is not responsible for shipping charges on repaired or replaced products under warranty.

MANUFACTURER’S Warranty

The manufacturer warrants all its products to be free from any defects in workmanship and/or materials for a period of ONE consecutive year, beginning from the original date merchandise was received by customer. The sole warranty obligation of the Manufacturer is limited only to repairing or replacing any part or parts of merchandise returned to the manufacturer with all shipping charges prepaid. Warranty will be null and void on any merchandise that has been determined by the Manufacturer to have been altered, abused, physically damaged, used incorrectly, or not installed in accordance to Manufacturer’s installation instructions.

WARRANTY SHIPPING PROTOCOL

The Manufacturer is not responsible for any applicable shipping charges on repaired and/or replaced merchandise under warranty. All warranty repair/replacement merchandise will be shipped freight collect. Merchandise sent to Manufacturer for repair/replacement must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) for tracking purposes and must be within one year of the original purchase date to be eligible for warranty. Repairing and/or replacing merchandise is the sole discretion of the Manufacturer. Any merchandise received by the manufacture without a RMA# will not be eligible for warranty.

All shipments of returned merchandise must be accompanied by a packing slip. The packing slip must be affixed to the returned shipment and be clearly marked to indicate such. The packing slip must show:

  1. Complete customer name, invoice & address 
    b. Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#)

  2. Reason for return (problem with or failure of the product, dissatisfaction with the product, etc.)

Shipping Errors

After your receipt of a written authorization and the assignment of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, shipping errors may be returned. Please attach your invoice number and the date sent on your packaging slip. Ship returned merchandise prepaid. Returns due to reasons other than Manufacturer’s error will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

BLACKBOX Module Courtesy Exchange Policy

Notice: The 60HP BLACKBOX Diesel Performance Module is sold AS IS and Non-refundable! 

While the 60HP BLACKBOX module is a functional aftermarket performance product for select earlier model vehicles, the manufacturer offers NO Guarantee or Warranty of any kind on this product as it is inferior technology to the manufacturer’s current technology in use.

BLACKBOX COURTESY EXCHANGE

In the event a customer purchases and installs a BLACKBOX module that is suspected to be faulty or non-operational, DieselModules.com offers a one-time courtesy exchange of the module for an identical BLACKBOX module. The BLACKBOX courtesy exchange policy is applicable for a period of seven (7) consecutive days beginning from the original date the customer receives their module. After the 7-day courtesy exchange period, NO additional exchanges are offered. The customer is responsible for applicable shipping charges on the product being returned for exchange. DieselModules.com offers a one-time free shipping on the BLACKBOX module going back to the customer for a courtesy exchange. 

TO EXCHANGE

To exchange a BLACKBOX module customer must contact DieselModules.com to request an exchange. The Original product being exchanged must be postmarked no later than seven (7) days following the customer’s original BLACKBOX module delivery date. Any exchange request after the 7-day period will be considered invalid and denied. DieselModules.com will provide customers with a one-time Product Exchange Authorization Number. This Authorization number must accompany the product being returned for exchange, along with the customer’s full name and mailing address.
